Citrus sinensis 'Cara Cara'
A variety of orange with large juicy fruit, created by cross-pollinating the Washington navel orange and the Bahia orange from Brazil. The fruit is large, juicy, and has a slightly tangy taste compared to regular oranges.
Fresh red orange is excellent as freshly squeezed juice, in fruit salads, or as an addition to desserts. In savory dishes, such as risotto, fish, or asparagus, it is added to refresh the taste.
Dried slices of orange can be used as a spice for Gin & Tonic, cocktails, and various beverages. They are also a beautiful decoration for culinary delicacies
