Rooibos can be served as a hot or cold tea drink, and is sometimes used in dishes or as an addition to syrups with high-quality honey.
Rooibos is a bushy plant with long needle-like leaves that thrives in very specific conditions: sandy soil, dry climate with little rainfall on the arid plateau of South Africa, in the Cedarberg province.
