Terms and Conditions (General)

The website www.harissa.hr is owned by Harissa d.o.o. (hereinafter referred to as "Harissa"). The Terms and Conditions apply to registered users. Any fully capable adult who accepts Harissa's Terms and Conditions can become a registered user. During the initial registration, it is necessary to provide truthful information and fill in all required fields. By registering, the customer confirms acceptance of the general Terms and Conditions. The user is responsible for the security of their password and is advised to change it periodically. Harissa is not liable for any misuse of the user's password, but will take appropriate action upon receiving a report of potential abuse.

Registered users have the following rights:

  • Purchase items from the website www.harissa.hr.
  • Use the website www.harissa.hr in good faith and with good intentions.

We reserve the right to change the terms of use for these websites at any time. Such changes become effective upon publication. The registered user is responsible for regularly reviewing the rules and terms of use and is deemed to be aware of the current rules and terms of use when confirming a purchase.

Online Purchasing

Every registered user can purchase items from Harissa's offer displayed on the website. The sales contract between the registered user and Harissa becomes valid upon receipt of the ordered shipment and is applicable exclusively within Croatia and Slovenia.

Prices

All prices listed include VAT and are expressed in Croatian kuna (HRK) and euros (EUR). Offers and prices for special promotions are valid until the expiration date indicated on the website or until stocks are depleted. Shipping costs, which will be specified separately during the ordering process, are not included in the price. Shipping costs may be increased to cover additional expenses related to delivery, based on the terms of the courier service providing the delivery.

Fixed Conversion Rate: 1 EUR = 7.53450 HRK

Warranty and Service

The warranty period is indicated for each individual item. For items without a specified warranty period, the general warranty terms according to the applicable laws of the Republic of Croatia apply. Our suppliers provide service in accordance with the laws of Croatia. For complaints, please contact info@harissa.hr.

Payment

You can pay for your ordered items in several ways:

  • Credit Card - American Express, Diners, Eurocard/Mastercard, or Visa.
  • Cash on Delivery - You pay the delivery service upon receiving the goods (only for deliveries in Croatia).
  • Bank Transfer - You make the payment to the provided Harissa bank account based on the issued proforma invoice.

An invoice will be issued with the date of dispatch from our warehouse and will be sent to the email address you provided during registration. If you want the invoice to be sent to a different address, please notify us during the purchase process in the "notes" field. In the case of credit card payments, Harissa will authorize the payment at the time of delivery. If there are any doubts about the accuracy of the data, we are not obliged to deliver the goods. These conditions also define the shipment of the ordered goods.

All payments will be effected in Croatian currency. The charged amount on your credit card account is converted into your local currency according to the exchange rate of credit card associations.

Delivery of ordered items

The ordered items will be delivered to your address as soon as possible, but no later than within 7 working days for available items, i.e., those that suppliers have in stock. Under normal conditions, the goods are delivered to the customer on a working day, within 5 to 7 working days from the order date. For deliveries to islands, the maximum delivery time is 7 working days according to the delivery schedule of the courier. If we estimate that the delivery time will exceed 7 working days or that it is no longer possible to deliver the requested item, you will be notified via the email address you provided during registration after verification with the supplier.

In areas where organized delivery is available, your package will be delivered directly to your home. In areas where package delivery is not organized, the post office or a courier company will inform you of the arrival of the shipment, and you will be able to collect your package within the timeframes specified by the delivery service. Harissa or the authorized courier reserves the right to request identification of the recipient through a personal document during the delivery of the goods. If the identification is not provided, Harissa reserves the right not to deliver the sent goods. The recipient confirms receipt of the goods by signing on the delivery note or a similar document.

The delivery costs for standard packages for the HR and SLO regions are as follows:

  • The cost of standard delivery and cash on delivery for HR is based on a weight of up to 1 kg and amounts to 20.21 HRK/2.68 EUR.
  • For orders within HR exceeding 226.04 HRK/30 EUR, including VAT, the delivery cost is not charged regardless of the delivery method.
  • The cost of standard delivery for SLO is based on a weight of up to 2 kg and amounts to 95.44 HRK/12.67 EUR.
  • The cost of cash on delivery for SLO is based on a weight of up to 2 kg and amounts to 141.31 HRK/18.76 EUR.
  • For orders within SLO exceeding 700 HRK/92.96 EUR, including VAT, the delivery cost is not charged regardless of the delivery method.

Right to contract withdrawal

Every contract concluded by means of distance communication can be terminated by the consumer, without stating a reason, within seven days. In the case of a sales contract, the period referred to in paragraph 1 of this article shall begin on the day the consumer receives the product.

Form of contract withdrawal

The contract is terminated by written notice of termination sent to the trader. The contract is considered terminated at the moment the trader receives the notice of termination. The contract is considered terminated on time if the notice of termination is sent within the prescribed period mentioned above.

Consequences of contract withdrawal

In the event of contract withdrawal, the consumer is obliged to return the product to the trader at their own expense. The consumer is not liable for any damage suffered by the trader due to the contract termination. The trader is obliged to refund the consumer the total amount paid by the consumer based on the contract within 30 days from the date of receipt of the written notice of termination.

Exclusion of the right to contract withdrawal

Unless otherwise agreed between the parties, the consumer does not have the right to withdraw from the contract based on the preceding articles in the case of a contract:

for the sale of products whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market, for the sale of products made according to the consumer's specifications, products made exclusively for the consumer, or products that, due to their nature, cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate rapidly.

Additional notes

Harissa reserves the right to delete from the user list those users who would violate these rules and terms or in any other way slow down or disrupt the functioning of the website, and to take appropriate measures against such users. Harissa is not responsible for any damages that may arise due to the interruption of availability, non-publication, or deletion of ads or errors in the operation of the website.

The terms and conditions between users and Harissa are subject to the laws of the Republic of Croatia. In the event of a dispute, the parties will attempt to resolve it amicably, and if that is not possible, the competent court in Zagreb has jurisdiction.
