One of the basic sauces in culinary is Hollandaise sauce. The rich flavor of this light yellow sauce is achieved by reducing vegetable stock and white wine, carefully preparing egg yolks, butter, and lemon.
Hollandaise is probably best known as a topping for Eggs Benedict, but it's also delicious with steamed vegetables or with all kinds of fish and seafood.
